„Sun-Mi Hong Quintet – Orange Line“ Live at Bimhuis

One of the most promising young jazz artists in The Netherlands. Sun-Mi Hong’s music balances between jazz, impressionism and the Korean tradition.

As a drum talent from South Korea, Sun-Mi Hong blossomed in The Netherlands. Here she dedicated herself fully to jazz, collaborating with Karel Boehlee, Benjamin Herman and Daahoud Salim. Her compositions show influences from traditional Korean percussion to classical impressionism.

During 12 Points the BIMHUIS presents a sparkling fringe program with exciting Dutch Acts. Each of them presents in their own way the vibe of the Dutch jazz scene. With a.o. Sun-Mi Hong, Niels Broos & Jamie Peet and Guy Salomon Group. Orange Line is supported by Dutch Performing Arts.
