Blessed with a wonderful voice and the ability to craft compelling songs bordering on pop, rock, folk and jazz. The musicality that speaks from every note is astounding’ (Heaven).
This fall Becca Stevens will present new music in the vein of the avant-garde pop of Talking Heads and Feist, adding another layer to her unique personal style. In her four-piece band she plays with creative jazz musicians from her habitat Brooklyn. The new songs promise to be open and transparent, a surprising next step after the rich, narrative music of her previous album Regina. On this release she collaborated with major artists such as Laura Mvula, Jacob Collier and David Crosby (of Crosby, Stills & Nash). Regina received unanimous praise, including a five star review in Downbeat.
